National Fish Decoy Assoc. -
Twenty-three years ago, a couple of guys, crazy about decoys and spear fishing, got together and decided it was time to make something meaningful and lasting.
The movement has grown to become a national phenomenon, but our mission is the same now as it was then: preserve the art of fish decoy carving and promote the artists who create these timeless masterpieces.
The Gathering -
The Gathering is the best Sporting Collectibles, Art, Duck Decoy, and Fish Decoy Show in the Midwest! In fact, we are the World’s Largest Fish Decoy Show!
We are a buy-sell-trade type of show, with an average of 110 vendor tables and 3 days of shopping fun. Friday is new, shopping from noon to 4 pm for $20.00 admission. The Sat. and Sunday admission is $10.00 per adult -per day, and all kids are free.
Great Lakes Fish Decoy Assoc. -
The Great Lakes Fish Decoy Collecting and Carving Association has the goal of collecting., preserving, and passing on the tradition of the fish spearing decoy. Since our founding in 1989, we have worked to keep the art form of the fish decoy alive while organizing friendly competitions- a place where people gather together to share common interests, trade decoys, stories, and carving techniques.
